I am requesting to get in some form of contact with anyone whom has experienced neglectful care towards themselves or a family member or friend that lead to shortening of life or neglectful death due to the lack of care from Sanatoga center located in Pottstown Pa. I currently am filing suit against the center for the wrongful death of my grandmother and am associated with a lawyer that specializes in this field. It was recently brought to my attention that a close friend of mine is about to lose their father due to the same exact to the T medical reason because of the same exact neglectful care being given to him at Sanatoga center. We are both filing individual suits with the same lawyer and with just this review board alone I have seen that yet another lost someone special the same way. I am reaching out to all of those that may have experienced or know of someone who has experienced such neglect so they too can see if they find interest in getting in contact with this lawyer to file suit against this nursing home. In turn they can protect the legacy and integrity of the patient and force change in this nursing home or even if enough individual suits are filed even shut it down so the patients still there may have a better chance at receiving proper care. My Dad went here for Rehab after his hip Operation. He was able to get around a bit and he was given the recommendation that he could Rehab "better than at home" at this short term facility. He was doubtful at first but a friend of his had stayed here and their family was very Pleased. He truly sang the praises of the staff there. "very helpful and accommodating"

The One Really nice thing was that Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Of course all Dad wanted to do was "go home" and sleep in "my own bed", but even he admits now that he did "BETTER REHAB there than if he was at home". He would not have been able to walk so far and so quickly if not with the help of the therapy and Nursing staff at Sanatoga Center. thanks to all the staff with great big hearts! You are all GREAT!

I would like to discuss my complete distaste for this HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE place. DO NOT send your loved ones there. We had my grandmother there for only 24 hours before we had to pull her out IMMEDIATELY. She arrived there from Phoenixville Hospital and they had no room for her. They then didn't give her her medicine for a FULL 24 hours. Every time she had to use the bathroom, it took them OVER an hour to get to her. When it was time to get her out of there (we just had a terrible feeling about this disgusting place), we walked in on the nurse actually screaming at her to move her legs (the reason she was sent to the facility was to rehab her legs!). I am completely and utterly disgusted with them and their actions. This will not end here, either.

I tryed to give ZERO stars but it wouldnt let me. Worst place I have ever seen. i would love to give negative stars if i could. My grandmother was there for less then a day. We moved her as soon as we could. She has problems with her legs and can not walk or move her legs very well. As we were moving her the staff was yelling at her that she needed to help by moving her legs. (umm she cant move them!) When i walked in it smelled dirty. My grandmother has indents from sitting on her bed pan to long and when they took her off the bed pan they did not fully clean her. I would never tell anyone to take someone to this place. If they treated my grandmother that way when i was there i dont want to know how she was treated when i was not there. I do not know how or why this place is still in business!

My mother recently was refered here from Pottstown Memorial Hospital. She had General weaknes in her legs and was unable to walk on her own. I agreed to place her at Sanatoga Center. When we got there I noticed the place was crampped! Also I took note of the number of patients unattended in wheelchairs sitting in the hallway. When we got there, it was dinner time so, I got to witness the nurses slamming several patients into the tables as they were being pushed up to the tables to eat. at least 5 ofthem said ouch and were rubbing their legs! reluctantly I left my mother here, figuring she is only there for rehab and physical therapy. Big mistake! My mother was told by the nursing staff "not to get up herself and ring for a nurse to go to the bathroom". She rang and no one came for 2HOURS! she had to pee herself! Then when they did come to her aid she was left ont the toilet for up to an hour. This went on for a week! She also mentioned (when she finally told me about all this stuff) that the nurses were mean and yelled at her for having to goto the bathroom! I also noticed that 1 of the nurses had gang tattos! Ok we know the nurses suck, but also, no one in the therapy department made any attempt to show her how to propperly use a wheelchair. she asked twice and she was told"it's hard for us,too". The next day I pulled her right out of there. I spoke to the Director Robert, Who is an ASSHOLE! All he did was try to talk me out of it and say how they have an overall rating of 4 stars and he would take care of the problem and said that he deserves a chance to correct this. I told him to F@#K off and discharge my mother immedietly. My mom is now in Phoenixville Hospital with Pneumonia witch is the cause of her weakness. So Pottstown Hospital and Sanatoga Center will be hearing from my attorney! Don't send your loved one here!

Our MOM has been a patient at Coventry Manor for just over a month. In that short amount of time, they have improved her quality of life in so many ways.

Our Mom was transferred from another nursing facility where she had been a patient for almost 3 months time. At this facility, she wasn't eating, talking, standing or walking and especially not smiling. In fact, she did nothing but sleep most of the day and night.

We transferred her to Coventry Manor at the end of June 2011. Prior to the transfer, the Administrative Staff worked with us to make everything a smooth transition, even though we had some very extenuating circumstances.

In just over a month at Coventry, our MOM is eating, talking, even walking (with assistance), but most importantly, we have seen her smile again and she is not always sleeping. In fact she is the opposite.

The nursing staff there all know her; they talk to her and treat her like she is someone, not like where she had been previously.

The entire staff there has been kind and understanding. They have made us feel like we truly are part of their family. There are plenty of hugs to go around when they are needed.

Someone there told me they don't have a hanging Chandelier in their facility. I say we have been to the places with the Chandelier’s, and after being at Coventry, I'd never go back!

She loves it here and we love her being here! We couldn’t ask for a better place and would highly recommend it to everyone.

I am writing this review to let you know how grateful I am for the fine care I received during my stay at Coventry Manor. Each person from the janitorial staff, aids and nurses treated me with dignity and respect and did their jobs well. I found the therapy people especially dedicated. Erik was most helpful with gettting me going in the morning, when I really needed the help. A special thanks to Eric. I give Coventry 5 stars for exceptional care delivery.

My mother lives at Coventry Manor and she is very pleased with her care. She likes the food and activities and finds the staff warm and caring. Her doctor is a gerontologist with a great bedside manner. Every so often she gets some physical therapy to help with her transfers so we can keep taking her out for visits.

Nursing Home gave great care to my mom. She graduated to an assisted living. The food was appetizing. The Medical Director and nursing staff were on top of their game. Skilled therapy was persistant in spite of my mother's resistance. My mom said she would go back if her health declined.
