It's a shame that I have to rate this home so low but truth is truth. But before I begin, I do want to say there are a few very good workers here. Of the dozen or so that I got to know, there were 4 excellent caretakers.
My grandparent could not eat or drink on their own. When I would visit (regularly), my grandparent's water would be out of reach. When I would visit at lunch or supper, no one would be feeding my grandparent. I would do the feeding myself. I know for a FACT that when I wasn't there, he/she was not fed. There were two occasions when they saw me coming and quickly ran over to act like they were feeding her. I'm not stupid.
She would get her meds when my grandparent needed them. Hello? My grandparent couldn't/wouldn't ask. Just give it to them! Make them comfortable for crying out loud!
My grandparent was to have oxygen. It's tough to get oxygen when the tubing is clogged or crimped!
The one head nurse never once left her desk. Laziest nurse I've ever seen. There was one nurse that was very good though. Unfortunately she didn't work 24/7. The one nurse was a total smart ass. Hey, if you don't like your job, go get another one!
Never…never send your loved one here.
