I think they are understaffed. Since it has been bought by ocean healthcare it has gone down hill. There Facebook page is nothing like the unit my Mom has been on for 5 years. Sometimes there aren't any staff members in the dining room. Weekend staffing is bare minimum. Some weekends have only 2 aides for the whole hall. When I bathe my Mom, I remove crud from her feet and naval. I have been questioned about bruises on her by ADON. They have treated devoted family members like criminals. I could go on and on! I ask for very little, and sometimes don't get anything. The unit manager changes often. Still waiting for follow up from 2 years ago!

And the business office! I can't wait for them to be investigated.

One of the worst facilities that I have seen. Disorganized,lack of communication between facility and clients.Misrepresented facts.Relative there 2 months,broke ankle,ran over their foot in wheelchair,hit patient in eye,lost articles of clothing.Patient put in bed upside down.Left patient and did not change for 12 hours.Patient was left at Hospital without notification to relatives which was a directive to do.Patient moved 3 times do to smell/disorganization of rooms. Dietary needs were not met many times after review with facility many times. All facts with pictures and documents.

Incompetent staff has no idea what's going on and very obvious they're only there for a paycheck. Patients walk around with nothing to do and look sad. My grandmother deserves better and we're looking for a new place for her.

my mother has been in this facility since 2008. The new administration has not done much to improve the place. Clothes have gone missing so many times, socks, soap, jewelry, money that is locked up. Food is served COLD, not warm. Two aids have been terminated due to patient mistreatment, one cursing, one pushing my mother into bed. I have written to the director of nursing and had no reply. My mother is wheelchair bound and the aids/nurses do not respond when she rings for bathroom help. I've seen this personally. My mother is on medicaid and if she could go elsewhere we would move her. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT PUTTING YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY.

This place is really dirty. The employees here are nasty and incompetent. The aids are horrible. They're young and lack compassion. The doctors on staff don't want to be bothered and they are unattainable when you need them. If you're lucky they'll send in a nurse practitioner. They deny medication when its needed. The nurses are unprofessional, unskilled and nasty. It seems to be a warehouse for people to die. I kept reporting the facility to the state and nothing was changed. I complained to the administrator and nothing was done. Bedsores are common place with very little treatment or care until the patient dies. I would score it zero but that's not an option. I as a family member had to go every day, complained every day, tried to be generous to give gifts and money to aids to try to get better help, begging them for help and compassion to no avail. If I didn't go, my mother wasn't fed and she couldn't eat. My mother lay dying in bed and the aids were singing and dancing and blaring music in the hallway. Patients were screaming in their rooms and were ignored.

The care I experienced at AristaCare at Cherry Hill was outstanding I felt as though the aids were very caring and willing to meet my needs in a timely fashion I rarely had to push my button for help because the aids were in and out of my room so often Overall my stay in sub-acute rehab was excellent

Sullen staff. We are guests to your facility. Every employee should make an effort to greet family and friends of residents. Most go out of their way to avoid saying hello. Need to have secret visitors like stores have secret shoppers. The only time they are on the ball is during inspections. Fri and weekends are horrible.cit doesn't look like they clean the lobby ladies room on weekends.

My father was in this facility… The room was dirty, the heat was set at 66 and couldn't be changed when it was 15 degrees outside, many of the people were rude, and the care was less than adequate (too many patients, not enough help). I would NOT recommend this place and could not get my father out of there soon enough.

Grandmother was here for several months, she was very happy with all the services. Felt that the nursing staff was caring and fun, especially pleased with the therapists. The only concern we had was some of the food, but this problem was quickly reconciled through guest services and dietary.

I've been to several rehab facilities in the area but Aristacare was the best experience. We had a food concern initially but the staff were very on top of it and made sure my father had everything he needed and then some. I am very grateful to the staff and especially the ones one the first floor. Compared to the horror stories We've had to deal with in other places this was a breath of fresh air.

I am ashamed to say my mother has been in this facility for about 6 weeks. We knew the first day this place was awful. We have complained about everything from lack of care, nasty employees, unsanitary

conditions, improper medication and that was all in the first 36 hours of being there. Who wants to share bedpans with your roommate or have an aid with zero care or training put you in a dirty bedpan and not clean you after using it. Try to give you meds you were not prescribed or give you the wrong dose. Forget the call bell. What a joke. If they even answer it they leave the room to never return and leave you in a dirty diaper and soiled sheets for hours. I have the photos to prove it! This is a disgrace but it seems to me that they are all like this. While the administrator has tried to improve our situation, when you hire people who really just don't care about the patients, you are never going to earn or live up to the so calle 5 star rating. These are human beings you are caring for. You better start holding people responsible for their actions because one day, that might be you in one of those beds, sitting in a diaper full of feces!

Place stinks, mom was here for 2 weeks and I took her out. Nursing was abusive and non responsive. Management (Simon was his name) told me to "just leave" if I was not happy with services. Do not recommend.

1. My grandmother did not get lunch today because she was not washed or dressed and did not want to go to the dining area in her pajamas.No one even noticed!

2. After my family member used the portable toilet in her room, the nurse threw the used toilet paper in the trashcan, not flushed away.

3. Urine smell in the hall/room

4. Seem short-staffed - only could locate one nurse on the floor. They may be others, but i didnt see any.

5. Dinner was nauseating. A boiled hotdog on a piece of white bread, covered in chili. When my family member said she did not like chili, the aide simply scraped off the chili. They did not offer another dinner. The soup was a grayish yellow broth liquid with some corn in it - nothing else. Food is awful!

6. Each time I visit, I end up taking her to the bathroom becasue she "cant remember that last time she saw an aid/nurse".

7. My family member is officially wearing diapers now… used a toilet before she was admitted - go figure.

8. Her condition has deteriorated since she arrived.

9. Patient asked for a tylenold for a headache but was givien a tramadol. Why???? To knock them out for the night?!?!

10. And..the one positive thing…. the nurse made the patient smile and appeared to be quite cheery and pleasant!

This place contributed to my father's untimely death. This is a filthy and smelly facility where no one cares about the residents who rely on the staff for their very lives. Incompetent "nursing", lazy staff, and food not even fit for an animal. The aides gladly accept your cash to do some "extra" things and, even then, only do so when a family member is present. My father suffered several bouts of pneumonia and other issues due to the poor quality of care. Another problem in probably most of these facilities is the frequent turnover of staff, each one worse that the last. I only wish I had had the resources to keep my dad at home or in a private facility. No elderly person should have to go out in this undignified manner, especially someone you love. Please do not place your loved one in this facility under any circumstances. I would give this place a zero rating, is if were an option

It is with the utmost pleasure that I write this note about the wonderful experience we had at Aristacare. We had no idea that a "nursing home" can actually be a wonderful experience. The love and warmth my husband was shown was remarkable. Thank you good people for all that you've done for us.

While the nursing care has been mostly positive, the overall care is awful. The Physical Therapy is totally lacking, and they bill insurance for therapy that was not provided. Avista just wants to get paid, they don't want to provide the services to improve the outcome for the patient.

There is a total lack of communication between the patient and family from the staff, no matter how many times you complain.

My very best advice is to avoid Avista at all costs. I wish we had.

I have yet to find a single good review of this facility. Now I am here to back everyone of these reviews. This place is a JOKE. Seriously. They are extremely disorganized. I can imagine how they get away with the care that is given at this facility. They consistently forgot to bring my mothers medication, they would ask if she needed anything and when she said yes, they just never returned. They were suppose to ice her leg, they FORGOT, they were supposed to elevate her leg, "nobody told us to do that", she was told to meet her nurse on the first floor in 15 minutes. We wheeled her down, 45 minutes later we had to go looking for the nurse! I was in the room one time when a nurse came in to give her medication. 10 minutes later a different nurse came in and asked her if she wanted her medication! DO NOT SEND YOU LOVED ONES HERE or you will be the next one commenting how bad they are.

don't let the appearance of this place fool you! Send your loved one somewhere else. The facility is poorly managed. nursiing is absolutely terrible. I can't imagine how the nurses got their degree. Most of them show little care for their patients. They have know clue what to do if presented with a problem. Meds are seldom on time. My grandmother was there and her entire family was happy when she left. I cannot say one good thing about this place. Look elsewhere if you want good care, I spoke with some patients there and not one was satisfied with their care.

This place is horrible the don is completely rude she is dressed for a board room not a healthcare position and acts like it. I watched her bully her staff in the halls she could care less about them. Standing at the station u can see where they cancel staff leaving the staff they have on with almost twenty patients at times. They promised never more then ten. They could care less about ur family member administration must get bonuses for cutting staff hours. This place is for profit. They make it known want a snack sorrry got to buy it from a vending machine for my mom or give her graham crackers want something at midnight sorry kitchen is closed if u call. The aides and nurse were doing their best with what the administration gave them. I dont know about other manor cares but its easy to see why people say avoid voorhees. It used to be nice last time mom was there but new administration has cut everything to lower their budget and line their bonus. I asked about staff members we loved last time and got a sad smile quit or fired they didnt like what its turning into. Go to kennedy or virtua or new power that looks at least how manor care used to be avoid this money hungry building

To quote my granddaughter when she came to see me "OMG this place is amazing, it's like a resort!" After spending close to four weeks at Aristacare I must say that I absolutely agree with her. Not only is the building stunning but the staff are the most caring group of people I have ever met! Highly recommended!

My Mom just finished her one and a half stay there. The staff is really great and very accessible. The Administrator ( forgot his name) was so nice and his door is always open. The Social Services Director Jessie is also great!! The food was ok and the building was clean but not the fanciest. I highly recommend this facility. They aren't a chain company which makes them unique.

My mother was in here for rehab after knee replacement. She only stayed 2 days out of the insurance approved 7. The place was dirty, my mother called them to use the rest room and it took them an hour to show up, not once but twice this happened (she was not approved to go on her own, even though she had a walker). When I walked down to get her a drink there was a women in a wheel chair with no pants (or underware) on and asked me to help her, I asked the aid and she said "we will get to her" what was she doing in the hall way with no pants on. No one that came in or out of my mother room ever washed there hands. And the final straw was the to told her to have me take home all her stuff or someone would steal it! Can you imagine an employee saying this!

This place really lived up to its reputation. The compassionate care that my mom received was astounding! The employees and administration dont stop at anything to make sure my mom had what she needed to make a quick recovery and be comfortable while doing so. Highly recommended!!

I would like to congratulate the entire dedicated team at aristacare at cherry hill for creating such a wonderful environment that enabled my complete recovery. Their staff was so helpful and always looking to please and assist. The nurses and aides are the best and I can't thank them enough! I hope to stop by and visit soon.
