this place really really really stinks my dad was placed in here for rehab the food drinks and only really bad sink water to drink no other can of drinks availble worth speaking of no sodas my dad left early before finishing his therapy good thing he did his leg was swollen we told the therapists they would not listen the nurse neither we discharged out of dad and took him to a emergency room his leg was swollen had pain redness they did a ultron sound checking his vein in his leg and found deep vein thrombosis bloot clots where lodge in his leg if he would have stayed at lindsay gardens convalscent home he could have lost his life and where thankful to god that he left that place shame to the staff and thrapists at lindsay gardens convalscent home for whating to contining therapy on his hurting leg if he had it could have broke loose those clots he doing ok know his on coumadin therapy i know coumadins harsh but its giving him a second chance godbless you all how deserve it.

lindsay gardens is for profit and they sure show it they ignore there inspections from the fire department not having enough staff of any field required not repairing there outside garden walk way and serving the residents banned tap water for drinking and serving powder drinks made from it lindsay water has been banned from consumtion but they dont care bad food high in salt fat and several occasitions under cooked foods served sour milk watered down sometimes all pre frozen foods full of fat and salt no sodas are allowed in this facility to cut there cost down i cant belive this many residents had tvs but no way to control them and they did not help on these issue this facility dont care about making its residents comfortable just getting rich off them and cutting there costs down even if it endangers there residents stay away from this facility cant say you werent warned.

my grandfather was put in this place all they serve is really really really bad tap water drinks made from it and they dont allow patients to have soda i cant belive it and food not great even sometimes under cooked and to much salt made from high salt prepcked foods my grandfather needed a low cholesterol low sodium diet spoke to dietician he promised everything would be taken care of never was what a disgrace this place is horrible to not enough staff nursing you name it small cafteria small physical therapy room my grandfater grew ill pretty fast and wanted to be discharged we took him back home to live with me and iam telling you his doing better than he would have than if he would had stayed at lindsay gardens convalscent home my grandfater told them before leaving that he was going to the public gardens and we did to the park they had a little fishing pond our lake it was fun i love my grandfather hes filling better back home with me and we got life alert instead push of a button and where glad shame on lindsay gardens shame on you, god bless you all who deserve it.

CNA STAFF ABOUT HALF A DOZEN FOR THE WHOLE FACILITY

IF YOUR DYING DONT CANT ON BEING KEPT COMFORTABLE THERES NO GARANTEE ON THAT

DONT CANT ON THE NURSES CONTACTING THE DOCTOR OFTEN EITHER OUR AS OFTEN AS MUCH AS YOU PERSONNELLY THINK YOU NEED

IF YOUR IN FOR REHAB DONT CANT ON BE REHAB WHEN YOU THOUGHT THEY LIKELY KEEP YOU LONGER THAN YOU WHATED

FACILITY SEEMS TO CUTTING COSTS WHERE NEEDED TO POCKET MORE MONEY FOR THEM SELVES

LYING FROM STAFF IS OFTEN ESPECIALY THE TIME OF DAY AND OTHER THINGS AS WELL

PEOPLE HAVE HAD THERE VALUABLES STOLEN OUR GONE MISSING IN THIS FACILITY AS WELL

GLASSES HAVE GONE MISSING VERY IMPORTANT FOR SOME

CHIEF OF NURSING MAY NOT BE RELIABLE FOR HELP IN EVERY THING LIKE YOU EXPECT SAME WITH SOCIAL WORKER

INSPECTION SEEMED TO BE IGNORED IN THIS FACILITY OFTEN

THE OUT SIDE GARDEN NEEDS TO REFIX CONCRETE WALK WAY TO BE PUT FLAT LEVEL AGAIN NOT FIXED YET DANGEROUS FOR WHEELCHAIRS

OF COURSE THERE ARE OTHER FLAWS THAT CAN HAPPEN AS WELL BUT THATS LINDSAY GARDENS FOR YOU

We had been looking for a short term Rehab Center for my Uncle and had been touring other facility's in the area, but none had compare to Linwood Meadows. To be welcome with a warm smile from when we walked in to staff making us feel like we were already part of their family was so comforting. We knew immediately that this is where my uncle would want to be. The Therapy Team was AMAZING!! At the end of his stay, on his way out we were surprised by a Red Carpet that was surrounded with staff that had become our family. What a wonderful experience. There is no place like Linwood Meadows. I would highly recommend Linwood for any loved ones to be taken care of.

My grandma was a resident at Linwood Meadows, the staff was unbelievable, always going above and beyond for not only her but for all the residents. As a family member you want your loved one to be taken care with love and compassionate and that's just what the staff did, from her care to the delicious meals that were served , to the cleanliness of the facility. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone. We have no doubt in our mind that my grandma was happy.

Nothing but problems since day one. Mother had to be moved to a new facility after a doctor came in a put her in the hospital because of bladder infection, infection on and round her peg feeding tube, and dehydration . Mother is still in hospital,. My mother laid in their facility for two weeks with out any rehab. So called nurses handled her very rough, and bruised her arms, they never checking in on her through out the day, I had set for up to six hours and never seen a nurse. I would not let this place handle any of my love ones, beware.

This company treats it's workers horrible! While visiting my Grandmother last week I overheard them talking about one of the Nurses. The woman was referring to the nurse in terms very unbecoming! I was shocked! My only thought was how does the woman speak to the Residents?????? Very disappointed. My family is going to look for new home for my grandmother. Now I understand why there are always so many new CNA's & LVN's! I wouldn't care to work for a company that treats employees this disrespectful! Shame on Mission Care Group!!!!

I put my Dad here yesterday afternoon. After 2 hours I was ready to take him home. The staff were not helpful at all. Nobody would answer any of my questions. The person I was supposed to meet with was "not in the building" and there was a "new admit" they had to deal with. Well, my Dad was a "new admit" as well and they were completely ignoring him. Also, he did not receive his dinner tray and the person from the kitchen, said "we didn't get any slip for him" and walked away. And, they put him in a semi-private room, when I specifically asked for a private room. After 3 hours, this was finally done. I went by again this morning. They even had my Dad's name spelled wrong. They did bring him breakfast while I was there. But the person I was supposed to meet with wasn't there yet. I am going to look at other facilities here today that will accept his insurance. If there is one, I am moving him ASAP. Or my only other option is to take him home and get in home help.

Earlier this year My Mother was in need of a Nursing facility to help her with her recovery from a fall. After looking at 5 different places in her hometown of Porterville, we were desperate, when a family friend suggested Redwood Springs. It was a God send!! This facility immediatly said they would take her and fast tracked us to get her admitted. The whole staff, from the janitor on up were friendly and caring. The rehab staff got her up and moving all the while keeping her happy and safe. She cried when she was being released as everyone came into say good-bye.

This facility is lacking in many areas.

#1, they do not have enough personnel to effectively care for the residents.

#1, They do not perform the necessary personal care for the patient's, i.e., clipping nails, cleaning ears, washing face after meals.

If I had it to do over again, with the knowledge I have now, I would have not chosen this facility for my mother's care. The personnel are nice enough, but they tell you only what they think you want to hear. The LVNs depend on the CNAs for reports regarding the residents. If you cause waves, they will have unfavorable reports for your family member. Typically, they (CNAs and LVNs) want only the residents that do not cause trouble or make noise. I know this first hand. Otherwise, why would they keep others that are a problem (yelling, roaming the halls, getting into other residents items, etc.)and remove another. I asked they would clean her ears, due to the build-up of wax, etc. They moved her because of "yelling" within the month. Now, mind you she has done this all along, when I would go in at night and feed her dinner, change her for bed, and stay with her for a while. As long as I did this, she was not a problem to them, I stopped doing this when I got sick and I had to choose my health or doing their job. I do not mind caring for my mother, it is a chore, but I dont mind. Now that they have moved her to Station 4, I don't know when she gets a shower, if it is when they get ready or twice a week. I know that they leave her in dirty diapers, once they sent her to ER that way. Last week when I picked up her clothes, she wanted to get up out of bed, I asked them about it, they said okay, thirty minutes later the CNA came in, changed her diaper, (dirty with poop) and I helped her put mom in her wheelchair. DO YOU THINK THEY NEED EXTRA HELP, I DO…. They don't want to budget for that, but they spent a LOT for Xhristmas decorations, and the residents in wheelchairs could not go outside to see it. SAD, SAD, SAD. As usual, the priorities are in the wrong place.
