I put my Dad here yesterday afternoon. After 2 hours I was ready to take him home. The staff were not helpful at all. Nobody would answer any of my questions. The person I was supposed to meet with was "not in the building" and there was a "new admit" they had to deal with. Well, my Dad was a "new admit" as well and they were completely ignoring him. Also, he did not receive his dinner tray and the person from the kitchen, said "we didn't get any slip for him" and walked away. And, they put him in a semi-private room, when I specifically asked for a private room. After 3 hours, this was finally done. I went by again this morning. They even had my Dad's name spelled wrong. They did bring him breakfast while I was there. But the person I was supposed to meet with wasn't there yet. I am going to look at other facilities here today that will accept his insurance. If there is one, I am moving him ASAP. Or my only other option is to take him home and get in home help.
