Review of The Heights on Huebner

My father has received adequate since we moved him here last year. I cannot say great, because the lack of staff makes the ones left overworked and it makes some residents easy to forget or overlook, even when you are present at the facility frequently. The staff that IS there is caring and generally kind, but they won't go above or beyond their job description, and that would be fine if the place was staffed appropriately. I saw wheelchair bound residents in feces soiled clothing sitting in a dining room 2 hours after mealtime because there were not enough people to take them back to their room and change them. As another person said, if you have a loved on who needs assistance going to the bathroom or being cleaned and having diapers changed, this is not your facility unless you want them sitting in their mess for hours.I heard a bed alarm going off for a long time, at least 10 minutes, and apparently the man fell and was injured because they took him to the hospital and there was blood everywhere. Had the gone immediately, they may not have had that situation since the room is across from the nurse's station, but without enough staff, no one was there to act on it.
