This facility needs new management. They have a D.O.N who does not care about the facility, her nursing staff or the residents and that is very clear. They have and adminastrator who doesn't know what is going on. Different department heads who also don't care. I wish state surveyors could come to facilities in street clothes and not tell the facility who they are. This facility hides things from them. Everyone other than nurse aides walk past call lights. Unless of course states there. Then everyone will answer call lights the second they turn them on. This facility needs managment who cares as much as most of their aides do. This facility is dirty and needs more staff!! I would not recommend this facility I took my loved one out.

How many times had your loved one been injured and not reported. Dropped, fell or allowed to fall out of bed doesn't cut it and then they don't call you. Admitted to the hospital! Didn't get that call until the next day. Tears in the skin leaving big open wounds, what is this all about. Stories that the employees were given money and a shopping list but where is the items requested and where is the money? Residents are told to wait in front of the restroom door until someone can assist you. I have witnessed this more times that I can count and usually they get walked right by without a care in the world and employees will look at you and say I'm on break. This is degrading!!!!

LOTS OF STAFFING ISSUES AND MANAGEMENT ISSUES. QUALITY OF CARE IS NOT GREAT DUE TO THIS BUT A FEW THAT WORK THERE REALLY DO CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS BUT THEY SUFFER FROM BURN OUT AND IT SNOWBALLS DOWN TO THE RESIDENTS. THE ROOMS ARE SMALL AND SOME ROOMS ARE SET UP FOR THREE BEDS AND THERE REALLY ISNT ENUFF ROOM FOR THREE IN THEM ANYWAYS. RESIDENTS COMPLAIN OF WAITING A LONG TIME FOR CALL LIGHTS TO B ANSWERED AND THIS IS DUE TO SHORT STAFFING AND THEY CLAIM THEY ARE OVER STAFFED ACCORDING TO STATE REGULATIONS BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT WITH MOST RESIDENTS NEEDING 2 PERSON ASSISTANCE OR NEEDING A LOT OF ATTENTION THEY NEED MORE PEPOLE ON STAFF TO ACCOMIDATE THE NEEDS BUT THEIR CONCERN IS ON SAVING MONEY WHERE EVER THEY CAN. CMH HOSPITAL HAS NAMED THEM THE LAST PLACE THEY WILL SEND THEIR PATIENTS AND THAT IS TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE IN MY OPPINION. THEY ARE NOT GIVEN PROPER MEALS FOR THE DIABETICS. THEY ARE SERVED POTATOES AND CONCENTRATED SWEETS ON A REGULAR BASIS AND THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD SERVED IS JUST OK. THIS FACILITY IS IN NEED OF BETTER MANAGEMENT AND POLICES THAT ARE CARRIED OUT. THEY ARE TRYIN TO MAKE THIS A BETTER FACILITY BUT I DONT SEE I GETTING MUCH BETTER. FAMILY AND RESIDENTS HAVE VALID CONCERNS AS WELL AS THE STAFF AND THEY AWAIT SEEING THE CHANGES. THIS FACILITY NEEDS A REMODEL AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED MORE EFFICIENTLY AND NEEDS HOUSEKEEPING ON ALL SHIFTS TO ENSURE TE FACILTY LOOKS NICE AT ALL TIMES. I COULD GO ON AND ON. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BRING YOUR FAMILY!
