mI had my dad in this facility and had to take him out. it is a dysfunctional place with a few staff members that are confrontational and nasty towards the patients. while there are some very good nurses aides there, there are a handful bad apples to are backed up by the nursing director and manager of the facility. the place is very poorly run and any patient/staff conflict that comes up is never properly addressed by the directors. if i were an elderly person, i would never want to be at the hands of such miserable, malicious people. the demeanor and mannerisms of the some of these is akin to that of a riker's island inmate. this is why i removed my elderly father, bedridden and mentally and physically compromised, from their care.
