The building and equipment is out of date. The rooms are crowded and their staff is unprofessional. I would not trust leaving my loved one in their hands.

Best choice ive made! This place has really made a change for the better. There are new faces in administration and they really care about the facility and the residents in it. I met Libby, I think she is the Director of nursing staff and Amie. They were both so helpful and really cared about my concerns! I decided to place my mom there because of the good things I've heard, and the people I met cared before I even decided to place her there. The residents were all well groomed and appearedhappy!

Short visit to this particular home and its not very comfortable looking nor clean looking for residents. Staff appeared to be helpful but like the review below me stated no tvs and i didnt see much of anything going on. It would benice to see them with something to keep busy with at the least a television set..

This facility is the best ! from adminstration to nurses i had no complaint very busy place and they will take care of you.

I was very surprised to see such low ratings. My mother has been cared for in this facility for over six months and I can't say enough positive things about the RN's, LVN's, administrative staff, EVERYONE that we have had personal contact with or that we have observed interacting with other residents / patients. Someone in our family is there nearly every day so I would say that we can give a pretty good evaluation of the day to day basis of what goes on with patient care.

The staff tries to involve residents who are able and interested to participate in physical therapy, crafts, gardening, games and other stimulating social activities. Residents are always greeted by name and treated with respect, the staff makes the effort to learn family names as well. Anytime we have had questions, concerns or requests, we received a prompt response. I've been to at least 5 other facilities and I can tell you this was the best.

All the staff at Community Extended Care Hospital of Montclair has been very professional, caring and loveable in the care my mother has recieved.

My mother has been given excellant care.

The activities the patients are involve with are very enjoyable and entertaining to the patients. They have started a Healing Garden that the patients are involve in caring for the garden.

The food is good and they get healthy portions.

This place does not have a fancy lobby, patios and etc. but the love and care they show my mother is worth a lot more than the fancy lobby patios and etc.

When my mother had to come to an extended care facility this was the only place we could find a bed avalible. It was not located in an area near where most of the family lived so we took the bed for my mother with the thinking that we could move her later to a place closer to where the family lived. After seeing the care she was getting here we decided that for her care and comfort we would keep her at this facility. My mother has been here over 7 months and we are very happy with the facility and her care.

My grandma was here and they almost killed her. Her o2 stats were at 70 and they didnt even know it we had to go in and find her. If you love your family dont send them here.

they lost their last star so i don't know why they're still in business. nurses there are below average and the office people are the absolute worst. PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR RELATIVES TO THIS PLACE, THE PEOPLE THERE ARE ALREADY DEPRESSED ITS NOT A GREAT PLACE!!!

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. My father who is paralyzed from the waist down and is also an amputee. He was transferred to this "hospital" and was left naked and in a pool of his own urine for over 6 hours. I wouldn't leave a stray animal at this house of horrors
