do NOT take a love one here. nurses are straight from a horror movie. mom was here a little over a week before she died. in 3 days she had huge bed sores. we had to hire overnight sitters to protect mom from nursing staff. wanted to admit her under hospice, but were strongly advised by admin at this nursing home to NOT do so. said it would add layer of bureaucracy to mom's care & not benefit her. we were hassled & abused from the moment the nurses realized we had sitters with mom overnight. we had a nurse tell us in "confidence" that we should sue the nursing home. this same nurse withheld medication because she was angry at us for monitoring her tasks. another nurse yelled at us for asking for blood pressure info. my dad had to come in the middle of the night to get a doctor override for a nurse refusing to administer medication. nursing staff & admin were unkind, unresponsive, and cruel to mom & my family. stay away from this place.
