DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE

My grandmother was in this "nursing care" facility and I have to say, this place is built upon nothing but lies. While the aides and the nursing staff seem to be alight, the communication between the entire facility is an absolute mess. They had changed my grandmothers medication--without my knowledge--I don't know how many times.

Their main "solution" to ever problem is to drug up patients with a cocktail of medications so they remain 'pleasant' and 'like everyone else'--so they actually have no idea what is going on- very convenient for them, not so much, however, for the physical needs of the patient.

I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone even considering the option of a home.

poor facility since new management took over. Physical therapy is the one shinning star. understaffed and un-caring care givers,,nurses think they don't have to do anything but dispence medications. lights flash non stop, until the over worked CNA are able to make their rounds..,make sure you visit your family member everyday…

All they care about is opening your mail and cashing your SSI checks. When their not doing that it's "break time", or it's "shift change". If the residents need help there, they'll have to help themselves. I would'nt recommend this place or these people to do anything, ever.

I would never again put my loved one in this facilities care again. Most of the staff is underpaid, rude and unkept. I asked a nurse…yes, a NURSE to help change my loved one's bandage and she acted like she was put out. IT IS HER JOB! I was fearful of leaving my loved one there daily because she told me they were mean to her. We switched her to a better place and she liked it so much more. Save your time, energy and mind and do NOT send your loved one here.

My grandfather is in there right now. The staff is wonderful, caring and compassionate. I would rather have him in a home where the care he gets and deserves is excellent than to have him in a ritzy high dollar home and get no care. It might be dreary (per another comment/poster on here) but it is an old building. That does not reflect one bit on the care the staff gives the residents! I highly recommend this home for anyone who wants great care for their loved one.

This place may not be fancy but my Grandmother has been here for over a year and the people are wonderful to her. I appreciate the care they give her. We looked at fancier places but we would not even think of moving her now. She is very happy.

It is really a nice place to stay. All the nurses are caring. Management is also wonderful.

floors are dirty, the dog poops in the dining room, am not sure if they use any type of cleaner on the floors. Windows in rooms leak air, overall the place is run down and dreary.
