When I first toured The Willows I was amazed at how clean it smelled, compared to the other tours I had done in the area. We decided to have my mom come to The Willows after being in the hospital and she was so happy there. She lives in assisted living and we were nervous that the idea of a nursing home would scare her, even though she is just there for a short time while her IVs medications are still being given. Now, we know we have nothing to be nervous about. Mom loves the staff at The Willows. They are all kind, friendly, and professional. They even offered us dinner while we were visiting, and asked if it would be OK to take mom to the movies with the rest of the group later in the week. She loves her therapists. I talked to one lady whose husband was at The Willows and passed away after a lengthy illness. She said she would live there herself when it came time to do so, and hearing a family member talk like that made me feel even better. Thank you, Willows! You have made an experience so much better for us and for mom! She loves that we can bring the dog to visit her!
