Review of Life Care Center of the Willows

We toured The Willows after they told us that it wouldn't be safe for my mom to go home right from the hospital. We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, but we were even more impressed with how active and upbeat it is there. The other facility across town had everyone sitting in the halls doing nothing in wheelchairs. Something was always going on at The Willows, and all of the patients seemed content. Mom loved her stay there, and eventually they got her better enough and stronger enough to go home, but she got sick again last year and we were no longer able to help care for her at home. So The Willows is now her permanent home and she loves it so much. They don't just forget about their patients there. She gets therapies when she needs them and they even take her to her doctor appointments at the pacemaker clinic at no charge when we can't do it.
