This is a somewhat better than average Alabama nursing home. Their care plan for diabetics is to simply feed them whatever they will eat and then medicate.

I agree with the reviewer regarding diabetic patients. Also they order unnecessary medicine then send our family a demanding bill to pay. Then find out that tech's are giving the medicine out. Unbelievable until I witnessed myself. Thought it was the nurse that had given it until they told me the nurse was "on smoke break or somewhere." RN's are required or at the least an LPN right? Most definitely not a tech/CNA! I read the review of this place and see they promote "smoke free environment" Definately a "devil in sheep's clothing place." This kind of behavior could cost lives. Deception is criminal!
