Should be closed down. I called and reported multiple problems that I as an RN identified. Someone is on the take, if they were not, it would have been closed down immediately. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The only good thing is the physical therapists. Nursing care was substandard. Ignored my friend for hours. Did not monitor her in bathroom few days after knee replacement. Facility is NOT clean. My friend got a C-diff infection. She is 89 and that can be deadly. Staff tried to encourage her to stay--completely contrary to mission of encouraging rehabilitation to go home.

Weekend staff plays games on the wall does not give enough attention

To patients. Bickers back and forth abouth who is cleaning a room or putting a trash bag in an empty can. Family member went in for rehab was sent out a week to a hospital because if dehydration and mrsa which they didn't have when they were intially admitted. Some of the staff was

The absolute worst nursing home in Pennsylvania. If you love your family member do NOT leave them here. Staff is lazy. Its dirty. They lie. Ignore patients in need of help. Dirty dishes.

My aunt stayed at chester valley rehab and I was thrilled with the care that she got there. the nurses were really nice and my aunt was very happy

Relative was recently admitted there from discharge of hospital stay and this was only facility that had available space at the time. Over this stay and due to number of various issues and complaints reported to staff that were not followed up by facility management for the most part, relative was then taken out by family and returned to personal residence. Since then we have found that different internet revews including this web site have low ratings for this facility. On a 1 to 5 rating, I have to give it a 1 but it should be ZERO and would strongly advise anyone considering this facility to avoid using it if at all possible.

This place is HORIBBLE! STAY AWAY the nursing staff sucks !! they will leave you sitting in your own poop and pee all day they DO NOT CARE! I had a family here and they HATED it the only good part about this place is the wonderful rehab! the only reason my mother stayed was for her pt. All of the nurses are terrible the director of nursing walked past a patient screaming and didnt do anything. Sooner or later this place will get shut down. I dont know how you become a nurse and just dont care about the residents. The nurses are so lazy they dont answer call bells they are constantly calling a aid to come take care of it. I hate this place i wouldnt even send my cat or dog here. They dont care they put dirty sheets on the bed and will ignore you. I wish this place would get shut down and be just for rehab. I cant begin to understand why these people became nurses when they DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF!!!!!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!

Had a family memeber in for three weeks for rehab on a operation. Not the type of place i would want a family member to be in. I hope someday a orthropedatric practice will take this place over. My family member would come from pt and sit on a wheelchair for up to a hour before someone could get her into bed. Over a hour for pain meds really? Bed sheets to fit the proper size bed,maybe they have a set somewhere!!! Look and review before you send a family member there. It's a place i would never end up in.

Stay away from this place. They say it's state of the art and the place has been there for over 30 years. They do joy help residents informing them about activities, unfriendly staff with an exception for a few. They sit people that are with it with people that cannot talk. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU FAMILY TO THIS PLACE. Star rating would not let me give it a zero

There are a few workers here who are really sincere and caring, but on the whole, this is a sad place as far as real care is concerned. If the patient does not have loved ones to constantly visit and check up on services, meds., and patient needs, they are truly ill-treated.

Residents well cared for in a whole. Staff whole heartedly care for residents. New decor (floors,paint,furniture,private rooms) Medication pass done on computer for less mistakes. Residents able to order out meals. Residents able to participate in a variety of activities daily. Smells clean, looks clean.

Not very professional. They need more diverse staff than the foreigners who work there. Not attentive enough, it's taken well over an hour for some patients to even have their call for help responded to. I don't know how they are still operating like that, it's terrible for those who have no options but to go to a place like Chester Valley Nursing Center.
