This place looks so amazing----when you FIRST walk in!! The exquisite lobby, the spacious corridors, the clean fragrance are all so appealing!! THEN, you find out the REAL deal after a brief stay. This place is seriously understaffed---and they do comply with the law---but we all know that the law is just so basic. The attitude at a staff meeting is cold and sterile---and almost hostile. The nurses were basically very kind---and way overworked!!! By the way---this is a restraint free environment---and they let us know that the patient has the RIGHT to fall. That is ridiculous. They talk about a SAFE FALL!! We heard it over and over and over---there is no such thing. Yes--the law says to limit restraints---and that is absolutely true--but according to the Department of Health there are absolute exceptions---and hospital beds with siderails should be used sometimes. We took our loved one OUT.
