Although I do believe this facility has a very small handful of people that actually care and are caring, in retrospect and as advice to anyone looking for a facility for a loved one, particularly in a skilled nursing capacity, RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I would not board my dog there. MCHRC was partially responsible for the decline and ultimate death of my mother. Staff is either overworked, understaffed or just plain apathetic. I had to constantly be there to make sure her needs were addressed and in the end, I was the one who saw her in distress and demanded an ambulance be called and her taken to the hospital. This occurred while she was laying in a pool of melted ice cream of which she was incapable of feeding to herself. A simple horrible and depressing place. English is not the primary language for a large population of the staff at MCHRC. Nursing staff is seldom in the room unless a relative is in the building, which is why it is imperative to be there as often as possible. Overall, with a ranking of 10 being superb and 1 being deplorable, I would rank this facility as close to 0-1 as possible.
