My father spent several months in the Alzheimer's unit. The staff were caring and patient with his unique personality changes. The nurses were excellent. At the end of this journey, they all reached out to us family members in a way that helped us make it through this challenging time. The facility is old and depressing, but I am sure Country Trails is operating on a tight budget due to all of the Medicaid patients they accomodate.
