I was uncertain about placing my father at Twinbrook but becasue it is so close to home, I decided to do it. I am not an expert on Nursing Homes so I did not know what to expect during my father's stay, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The Nurse Aids were wonderful they worked so hard everyday. The therapy staff were amazing. My father and I owe them alot, in particular Ken. He was so understanding of my father's abilities and they worked together wonderfully. Thank you Ken!! I had the opportunity to meet alot of wonderful people and I am sorry I do not remember all their names. Gert helped me with the admission information and she explained everythig to me in detail to make sure I understood everything and I am thankful for that. If I had one criticism it would be that some of the "higher ups" do not seem very professional at times. I cannot remember names but the Social Worker did not seem overly pleasant and at times she seemed bothered when she had to "deal" with us. Overall, I am very thankful for everything Twinbrook did for my father. As of today, he is doing good and he is up and moving around and enjoying his life and that is the best gift of all!!!! Thank you Twinbrook!!
