Wow. Villa of Springfield is just plain awful. They ought to be checked out by the state. Mom was there for only a short time before we had to pull her out. You'll find dirty trays just sitting in rooms. There's NEVER any linens and the ones they do have cheap and rough. If the bedsores weren't enough the rude staff would drive you out. The night staff is just awful and incredibly understaffed. I stayed over night with my mother and witnessed a nurse sitting never left the desk for the entire shift. I can't understand how the state hasn't walked in and seen 1 aide taking care of 20 people and shut them down. There was one particular girl from the morning shift I heard talking about how she missed work because she HAD BEEN ARRESTED for beating her boyfriend. In summary, DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. THERE ARE OTHER HOMES RIGHT UP THE STREET.
