I have had my in-laws in several other, newer facilities, but don't be fooled by crystal chandeliers and baby grand pianos! The staff at Clermont were wonderful to my in-laws and to our family. They have many things to do for everyone to enjoy. The building was clean, staff nice. When my fatherinlaw was there, they started leting the patients pick out what they wanted to eat, which dad thought was great. I met the home manager several times. She was always available and I didn't have to ask for an appointment to see her. The nurses were all very good. They had an nurse who supervised over nite and on the weekends. They seemed to care, or at least, they cared for my in-laws like I would have asked. I didn't expect to get private duty care, but there was always someone to help when there was something they needed.

Bad administration straight from the top. Beginning with the DON and the Administrator. This place is littered with bad morale and thus the residents suffer. A high turn over rate for staff proves it. That DON wouldn't know repect if someone could slap it right in her face (she deserves that much!) Its not a happy place! The first review knows what they're talking about!

I would like to know why certain administration people feel like they have the right to make people feel like they have done something wrong? Isn't it their jobs to make friends and family members welcome to home! I guess it's not the case is it? People apparently like to watch everything you do then accuse you of something you did but did not tell you that you wasn'tsupposed to be doing anyway. I find it to be very confusing don't you? I believe people should be told if their is any issues not hide them from people visiting with patients!
