I enjoyed my stay in the rehab section at the "Lakes of Monclova" in every way. I had total knee replacement and the therapy staff was excellent. The food was very good, well prepared and well presented as well as diversified. Staff was polite, friendly, and willing to assist. Walking the wide, beautifully decorated hallways was an important part of my healing both physically and mentally. I made some good friends during the dining times of residents who chose to live at the "Lakes" and I drop in to visit them once a month or so. My only complaint is that in my early stages of recuperation the pain meds were slow in coming even after several reminders on my part. If I go again for the other knee, I will be more assertive about this issue.
