This is a bad place to put dementia persons. They are placed furtherest away from the nurses' station. Plus, they are not included in numerous activities - i.e. rides to restaurants, bingo, etc. There are no appropriate activities there that we know of for for dementia persons.
Our loved one does not get enough liquids in a day. Even the basics are not provided.
In addition, some staff members are less than professional - very crude. For example, I saw the head nurse run into the dining area and chew out a family member for no apparent reason. I was there to help defend the person.
My family and I cannot emphasize this enough, but Again - PLEASE - review the Ohio Dept. of Health reports before you place your loved one here.
