This nursing and rehab center is one of the poorest I've heard of in years. One of my major complaints is that the nurses at this center does not give the patients 100% of the attention and care that they should. My mother has been in there for only two weeks for physical therapy and getting someone when you need the is terrible. I tested them to see ow long it would take to get someone to answer the bell and it took over 10 minutes on one day and today alone it took over 20 minutes, with someone passing the room, to respond. My mother stood in the bathroom today with no clothes on for 20 minutes just to get a gown. My problem with that is what if it was an emergency and no one cared enough to come see about her. As one of the nurses stated it is not my room and another one paged the nurse for that room, who was taking care of someone else while they was talking about what they did for the day. Another issue was hearing caretakers admit they had hang overs from the night before. Seriouly, no random drug test for to work in a nursing home where there is people lives in your hands. I think this place needs a serious overhaul of workers.
