This home seemed clean and rooms were larger than the previous home my Mother was in for rehab. Mainly good care, but the wait time was sometimes long when the resident had asked for assistance for using the bed pan, getting off an on was too long of a wait, which is due to understaffing. But the resident is the one who suffered. Staff did not concern themselves with making sure the resident was strong enough to feed themselves, just drop the tray and move on. She was only there for 6 days but overall it is still much better than the Sister home of River Trace in Washington NC. There is a staff member in administration that was an ANGEL for my family. Her compasion is great and she has a great understanding of the stressfulness of the situation to the family. She knows who she is so I won't have to name her, I would like to but I don't want her to have any repercussions from being named on a website.
