my mom is a patient at egar nursing home. I am shocked at the way she and fellow patients are treated. she needed to go to the bathroom. she put her light on but no one came for 40 minutes. I asked why no one came to aid her(she is in a wheel chair and can not get up by herself)was told they were starting new shift and she would have to wait. she is not allowed water at night and her light is taken away from her so she will not disturb the nurses. disgrace….she is old and feeble. we count on the home to treat her with respect and good care. does not happen. beware if you or someone in your family is thinking of going to this institution.
