My mother also was there until her Medicare ran out. I did all the leg work and investigated a long term faicility for my mother to be placed after we were notified of her departure date from Lynbrook. The social worker misled me time and again about sending out her PRI's which is the history of the patient that must be sent before they can be accepted into another facility. I begged her to send them but got nowhere for weeks and weeks. It was completely outragious. The departure date came and went without my mother being accepted yet despite my efforts for well over the preceding month to find peace of mind in knowing she was accepted at a long term facility. No one helped or cared and I went through hell. I was l lied to and misled by the social work department and everyone else despite my pleas.
