Review of Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

1 Star User Review

I would rather be left to die on a Street corner then to ever step foot in this plce again. While the Nursing staff was fantstic; they lacked the proper facilities Managment to allow them to care for my loved one. In my Family memebers time there I did not see the facilities Manager once nor did she take the time to learn about our stay. Anyone would do well to stay away from this place. Its only a matter of time before they kill somone.

My father was in this horrible place for almost a year. I came everyday after work to bathe him, feed him, toilet him and pick up what was left of his clothes to take them home to wash.. His clothes were always missing even though I was washing them. I spent a fortune on clothes for him. The staff would call me just about everyday to let me know that my father had a fall. One nurse even asked if I wanted to be called for every fall or just when he was injured, Really???? I am an RN and the staff knew that, but It did not seem to matter. Most of the staff are incompetent and probably can not obtain a job anywhere else. He has since passed away but I am still haunted by his experience. I feel sad for the residents left behind.
