Every time I visit my dad, the room is disgusting. There is no one around to even talk to about it. The floor is filthy. He is almost 90 and is treated poorly. He has a catheter in for no reason whatsoever. With my telephone call last night to the nurse taking care of him, she assured that he will be having this removed this morning. However, he still has it in and was told tonight. I also asked the nurse when can he have a shower. It has been 2+ weeks with no shower and his staples from his hip surgery have been out for a while now. They finally gave him one the next morning after my call..I thank god my Dad has myself and his wife to look after him being he would be laying there in filth.
