After very serious surgery, I was anxious about what facility my mother would do rehab in, I looked at several, and chose Merwick. I cant tell you how happy I am with this decision. Finally after more than a month, she is going home on Wednesday.
I would be remiss however if I did not tell you that the personnel in your facility are outstanding. So much so, in fact, that is is almost impossible to single out one as being exceptional. Each were professional, but more than that, they showed genuine care for all of the patients.
I am particularly grateful for Fudia, the CNA, Alecia at the nurses station, and several of the the nursing staff who helped care for my mother and guide her through some very difficult days. I am also grateful to Monika in PT and that whole team. even David of administration was a warm, caring and professional.
I wish I could name all of the wonderful staff who made my mother's stay one which helped her with a quick recovery. I hope that you will convey our sincere thanks!

I wrote this glowing review last year. I am not sure what has transpired since then but my mother is now back in and I am less than happy. Service and attitude both seem to have gone way down hill. My mother has not gotten meals on time (last night is was 7PM and she only got her meal after my sisters complained from 5:30PM on! The day before we had similar problems. When I called the "Social Worker" and she "investigated" she told me that the staff said to her that they were trying to get her to eat… Her next comment was a mind blower: she said : Would you not like them to encourage her to eat? I can tell them to stop. I told her I wanted them to encourage her with a smile on their face NOT an attitude in their voice!… Just poor people skills all the way around! I think there has been a change in management and every one from the top down needs to re-assess their mission statement and their execution!
