I should have known when I found a note in my Mom's room left by the prior patient's family. It said that they were taking their parent out of there because they continued to give the wrong medication!
This is one of the most expensive places in Las Vegas but it's one of the worst that I have dealt with. Expensive does not equal quality!!!
The nurses in the Express Recovery are unfriendly, uncaring and lazy! When you walk up to the nurse's station (while they are talking) they act as though you aren't even there. There are only a couple of CNA's on duty in each hall (maybe only one) and they are the ones "doing it all"!!! They bathe, toilet, dress and deliver the food. The nurses stand there and watch the lights going off but they will NOT go to see what the patient needs. They told me it was the CNA's job!
My mother has dementia - they act like they don't what that is!
I had a meeting with the staff and at that time I told them some of the things that were going on - along with the names of people doing it - and they have done nothing about it.
I found a new place for my Mom which is focused on memory care. I had that place come to get an evaluation of my Mom's condition, I left paperwork to be filled out, and I even talked with the billing lady so that I could drop off the check for the payment - IN FULL - upon taking my Mom out of there. Guess what? The paperwork was not filled out, meds not ready and they all acted like they didn't know what day she was leaving. Funny because I have my phone number posted on EVERY
