This facility was…ok at best. We chose it as a transitional care unit for a family member. They do have some faults though. They miss placed the medication that we brought in for our relative. Staff was not very quick to respond. Communication lacked when it came to informing us of things that were issues with our family member. We had asked the facility to contact the doctor to get IV Fluids, they did not, and we had to get this ordered ourselves. Once ordered it took approx. 8 hours to actually get this administered to our family member. Once the fluids got to the facility the staff didn't seem to know how to run the infusion pump. Once the fluids were completed we had to turn the pump off ourselves as staff did not respond to the alarm at 1:00 in the morning. There is a bright side; the Overnight nursing supervisor was WONDERFUL. She seemed to go out of her way to help us.
