Two years ago my critically ill Mother stayed at this facility. Although this facility looks like a five star hotel the care that she received was in a word horrible! I also understand after speaking with others who have had loved ones at this facility this is not unusual. When family members visit during the weekend, everyone seems to treat the patients terrific and do everything they are supposed do, but during the week, the patients are ignored and when they complain, their loved ones are told that the patients don't know what they are talking about. My very ill mother called me and said that she thought she was having a stroke and the nurses weren't paying any attention…I got a nurse on the phone who told me that there was nothing wrong with my mother. I asked for a Doctor to look at her and they told me there wasn't a Doctor available. I got in the car and rushed to my Mother's side and had her admited to a hospital that night…and sure enough she had a mild stroke. I also had her removed from this facility after that. If you love your relative have them stay somewhere else.
