Our family found Brinton staff very caring, funny and warm. Our family member could be stubborn and even mean when he wasn't warm and charming. He required a LOT of care, if you catch my drift. He stayed at Brinton for 7 months and passed away there. Nice small place that you could stop in an ask questions (very few families have EXPERIENCE at this sort of thing). Mom went every single day with few exceptions and we were always warmly welcomed. If you have to do this, and you use Medicaid, this was a very caring choice. It's still stinks to have to be in a nursing home at all, but sometimes there is no choice so knowing he was well cared for took some of our pain away.
