This facility staff don't know the difference between intermediate care and skilled care. The Director of Nursing is proud to say that they treat everyone equally whether they are on Medicaid or Medicare (or Private Pay) Now that sounds good but the fact is that some people really do need skilled nursing care and although this facility is licensed and certified by Medicare to provide skilled care, it is not evident that staff don't know what skilled care is. Most if not all of the care observed being provided was basically intermediate to custodiala care. Staffing is sparce and food is bland. Special needs of skilled patients are not adequately addressed. If your loved one needs skilled care don't go here.
