Review of Budd Terrace at Wesley Woods

My Father arrived at rehabilitation in August 2011 to gain strength and endurance after a hospital stay. When he arrived he was walking and continent. After a couple of week stay of rehab he was improving, and then the bottom fell out. He developed delirium and incontinence and fell on a couple of occasions. The family was told this was normal for an 81 year old man, and that it would improve. After continuing to decline and having severe sense or urinary urgency, he ended up being sent to the ER at Emory with 60/40 blood pressure and Septic with the source being an undiagnosed Urinary Tract Infection. After a two week stay in ICU at Emory he passed away due to complications from the Septic Shock. If you love your family member don't leave them at Bud Terrace for Rehab or in the Nursing Home. Also, check them out at the first sign of illness, delirium, or acting different chances are you will save their life by getting them out of there. Nursing staff was nice but not staffed to provide any level of care if you become sick. Hire a nurse and do the rehab at home or outpatient only. Bud Terrace should be held accountable for their direct neglect in failing to diagnose medical illnesses that occur while in their facility that lead to death. This is called wrongful death in the legal world.
