Review of Budd Terrace at Wesley Woods

1 Star User Review

If you don't need nursing care and just rehabilitation, then this place is o.k. for short term. The nurses and doctor argue with you and don't listen to you. They have a condescending attitude to the patient and the patient's family. Why do they even work there? They act as though they don't really care about the patient.

I was searching the web for a place to rate Budd Terrace and found you here. You who said the exact thing I wanted to say! But here's some more! My mother went in for stroke rehab and therapy was good, but gave up on her in three months! Stroke! Three months? The nurses were mostly kind to your face, but did nothing to help the patient. They scared my mother, and the third shift was the worst. I moved her from the second floor because they starting accusing her of racial slurs which is a bold face lie! They moved her to the sixth floor by the desk. Noisy! We soon learned that they were as bad as the second floor. They don't care what you need, but if you need a pan removed they make you wait and 45 minutes! If the patient attempts removing it on their own and it lands on the floor, don't call me saying my "mother has had an episode! She's thrown her bedpan on the floor and is everywhere!" Well, I think a button push for a bedpan removal is supposed to happen within a few minutes - not 45 minutes! I'd be hitting the wall! Anyway, so many things to report against this place, there's not enough space or time. I hate them and if I could, I'd preach on the street corner outside their facility for folks to stay away! My mother was tortured emotionally and physically from the lack of care given at Budd Terrace. Shame on you, Emory!
