Review of Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center

There is only one RN on staff. The rest of the care is done by LPN's, CNA's, and students. My mother vomited black coffee-ground material, and nothing was done. Two days later, it was discovered she was bleeding internally, after she'd been sent back to the hospital for an unrelated issue. No one called me. EVERYONE knows what black vomit or black stools mean. The gown and robe she was wearing when she vomited was taken by the nurse to laundry to be cleaned. My mother did not return to the center (thank God) and when I picked up her personal items a week later, we found the soiled gown and robe were stuffed, wet and vomit-covered into a plastic bag and tucked down in the bottom of her tote bag, under the other items.
