Review of Avante at Boca Raton, Inc.

This was the worst of the worst. I took my mother out of there this week. The doctor was totally unresponsive and incredibly rude. Not ONE TIME in over a week would the charge nurses tell us what medication she was receiving, whether she took it and what she ate. We had to be there at every meal we soon learned . The HMO doctor saw her only once in ten days and refused to give us any kind of diagnosis. We soon learned that all the nurses and certain other staff disliked this doctor because of his screaming, yealling and total unprofessionalism. We learned his reputation precedes him at a number of other facilities as well. THE PT staff was wonderful-no problems. Avante and the attending doctor, who is rapidly giving Avante a bad reputation, need to shut their doors. Needless to say, NOW my mother is in a clean, responsive facility with a caring, responsive doctor. This is a disgrace.
