My mother was in the Beverly Hill Center for Rehabilitation due to a knee replacement. Yesterday my father had to raise holy hell to get her out of there and back to Cedars-Sa'Nai because she was ill and in a lot of pain. Her stay there has been less than desirable. With the exception of a VERY few, the staff is not concerned with quality care. It struck me that I was an inconvenience to them when ever I inquired about something for the benefit of my mother. Their response time is excruciatingly SLOW, when they remember!!! I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Lisette, asked her to contactt my mothers doctor due a concern about her health. When I called the next day for the results I learned the doctor had never been contacted. On another occasion the wound nurse HAD NOT CLEANED and CHANGED my mothers dressing! They take an exceptionally long time to answer the call button and as a result, my mother was forced to lie in her own urine. On another occasion I found a SOILED sheet they left behind in her bed. If you love your family member, do NOT subject them to the sub-standard care if this facility.
