My mother lives in another town about 50 miles from me. After her short hospital stay, she was sent to a nursing home close to her home. A week later she was discharge home. Four days later, my mother called me to inform me that she can no longer stand up. Her legs were swollen. A friend of mine, told me about her experience at Rock Creek Care Center. She was so happy of the care her mother received from the staff of Rock Creek Care. I immediately called Rock Creek and was able to get hold of the Admissions person, Juliet. I gave her the information she needed about my mother and her current condition. Juliet called me back, informed me that she got the doctor's order from my mother's primary physician to admit my mother from her home. Rock Creek provided the transportation to facilitate her immidiate transfer. My friend was right, after two weeks, my mother was discharge back to her home. She's been home for almost a month now, but she told me that she's still getting follow up phone calls from the Rock Creek Care Center. Sometimes it is hard to believe that their are still people who are truly dedicated and value to their responsibility.
