I have been remiss in rating this facility, but due to the fact that my other Grandmother is going into the same type of facility, and I am having problems finding reviews, I decided I needed to rate this facility.
Putting someone you love into a "nursing home" is the hardest thing you will ever have to do, death is a blessing in comparison.
I will say that everyone I worked with was very pleasant and compassionate. They were very understanding and easy to work with.
My grandmother went there for rehab and ended up living out her days there, the rehab department was great, Grama was actually well enough to return home, but within two weeks was back at the facility due to continuing problems. The staff was great, they were very accommodating, even when we moved Grama into a different room, only to move her back to the original room she was in to start with. Grama had a life size doll that she loved, the nurses at the facility actually got together and bought "Gabby" a new outfit so Grama would have something clean to wear and wouldn't be "naked". When Grama passed away, the nurses were very understanding and several were just as upset as we were. Grama never complained about the care she received, she was never belittled and was never made to feel ashamed. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asked, everyone was great.
