Do not put your loved ones in heartland of charleston. There is never enough staff to care for people. The company refuses to adequately provide for the residents. They make sure there is enough staff when surveyors are in the building but once surveyors leave they pull the extra help. One resident was dropped out of his shower chair and suffered a broken hip. Another resident suffered a leg fracture due to safety violations. HCR only cares about money. It doesn't care about the employees or the residents. Beware!!!
