This facility has failed to adequately care for residents. Neglect & abuse exist at a high level. Within 1-2 weeks after admission, our love one acquired a severe upper respiratory infection, pressure sores on the buttock area, and UTI (urinary tract infection). Residents are left unattended for long periods of time while CNAs & nurses walk around talking to one another. If your love one requires total care (feeding, bathing, clothing,etc), it is necessary that you visit the facility each day just to make sure reasonable care is given. Even then there is no guarantee. Understaffing exists at the facility. The CNAs constantly complain of being over worked & needing additional help. Many are working double shifts. This is not the facility for your love one if you are looking for quality & compassionate care.

I agree….I thought it was just me expecting too much for my mom but other people have had the same experience…..someone needs to do something about this place before someone is left to die. It is our responsibility to let others know before they put someone here…..I wish I knew what else to do to get them reported to the right people but I am sure nothing will change.ra
