Spring Gate Rehab and Healthcare cared for my grandfather in the last few months of his life. I had a nice experience with Vanessa his nurse. She was very cooperative and understanding. She answered most of my questions and got me the information I requested pretty quickly.
My problem came in however when we financed a month of my father's care. Every month my invoice was wrong. They charged him for a private room despite the fact he was in a private room due to an infection he received after being in the facility. Also, when I called to check on him sometimes I was on hold up to 10 minutes waiting for someone to come to the phone.
He had Alzheimers and wasn't eating. They were supposed to put a PEG tube in him but decided to give him Megaise instead, although I'd express my wish for him to have the tube. By the time they put the tube in him, it was too late. Besides that, they lost his clothes.
They worked with me when I had to go to be at the team meetings for his care because we lived an hour away.
Overall, the care we recieved was fair.
