Anyone who gives this facility a good rating, is a person who is there every day providing care for the resident , monitoring the staff,and bringing food from home. This facility is dirty. Trash floats in pools of water surrounding the building. Call bells ring constantly, and go unanswered. Residents call out for help. Food is tasteless, and of sub standard quality.Residents appear fearful of their caretakers. Administration is never available. This is a sad place to visit.

Residents who are in their beds have strong urine odor. Many residents left in fetal position all day. Linens twisted around them. Untouched meal tray in the hall way. The few CNA'S can never be located. Staff in constant change. No one knows the resident in need. Could not be less desirable for "A Place For Mom". This is a sad scene. Many other fine facility's near by. Do not let any hospital transfer your loved one here

Trying to get my mother moved to another facility. They don't respond to call buttons and put her in a room with a patient who had pneumonia. When they staff is wearing masks to work on her room mate she shouldn't be in that room!

Buckingham Valley Nursing & Rehab Center in Bucks County, Pa. is a

home where my mother has been given wrong medicines, infections ignored until I brought them to their attention, overmedicated to the point of

zombie like confusion until I insisted a number of unecessary medications were stopped, terrible unhealthy diet, sits all day by herself many times, holes in the walls,, cheap thin mirror on the wall, months before she was given a tv…one of the worst nursing homes on the planet…

I really wouldn't even give it one star. This is a terrible nursing home…my mother has high blood pressure and cholesterol..given salty, starchy, fatty and fried food, sugary foods even cafeine tea and she has a pace maker..waited to give a test for chest cough til it became pnuemonia, offered her wrong medicine and if she is a little tired put her to bed so she isn't any trouble..halls are extremly noisy with staff shoting and down halls… always noisy..say she is not competant and she is

but can't go into etail until it is proven by an outside doctor…I would not want my

dog to stay here…

I have been extremely happy with the care my mother receives at Buckingham Valley. The staff is professional and compassionate.

My mother was admitted in Buckhm. on 6/29/05. At first it seemed to be a somewhat decent place for her to be but as months went by it was obvious that they were over-drugging her although I could not prove it. They insisted that it was dementia. She was 91yrs at the time so it seemed to be a good answer. She was VERY sharp but then she started sitting with her head in her hand, mouth open and drooling. This WAS NOT my mother. She was going downhill quickly. Unfortunately it is VERY difficult to move to another facility once you have admitted in one. It took me 2 YEARS to have my mother transferred to another facility and in that time she had the worse care ever! "I wouldn't put my dead dog in this place". In March of 2007 we had her admitted to a facility that gives above average care. Her prescriptions got under control. She NO LONGER sits around with her mouth drooling. Now at 99 & to be 100yrs old in May she is still pretty sharp. I too CAN NOT BELIEVE that this facility is even up to CODE. You cannot get a wheelchair IN the resident's bathroom. This is one SAD PLACE and should be SHUT DOWN. I only wish there was a way to prove their incompetency. My RATING IS ZERO!!!!!

This place was the worst warehousing I have ever seen of the poor elderly people who are entrusted to this hell hole.My mother said one day that the food was not good enough for a badly behaved dog. I found the aids to be rude & abusive… they were complaining that my Mom was in need of the toilet too often. I explained that she had only been released from the hospital the previous day and was on lasix ,due to having pneumonia. The answer was… I am only here every other weekend. I think that the staff should be somewhat informed about the status of the patients who are in their charge. Shame on you. I do not know how this awful place can possibly be sanctioned by the state or the federal government. Thank the good lord we were able to remove our Mom from this awful place. Oh , and she contracted C-Diff while a patient there, and I mysteriously ended up with MRSA. Goodriddens

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE . THEY ARE UNDERHANDED. THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A 77 YEAR OLD WOMAN, WHILE UNDER STRESS AND SICK IN THEIR REHAB. THEY WILL GIVE YOUR LOVED ONE LOUSY CARE, THEN TAKE THEIR MONEY, EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE LEFT THE HOME. THEY PROCESSED PAPERWORK TO TAKE MY MOTHERS SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK A WEEK "AFTER SHE WAS RELEASED". THEY WILL HEAR FROM HER LAWYER. THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE BEING SMART, NOW THEY WILL NEVER GET PAID. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS WAIT FOR INFORMATION FOR MEDICAID. BEWARE. BAD BUSINESS PEOPLE

O.M.G. I cannot believe how dirty Buckinghamvalley nursing center is. My mother was here in February 2011 and her room was clean 2 times a day the young men who run the housekeeping people was so nice he would clean her room himself I sure do miss that young men, now my father is here and his room may get clean only if I call for the new housekeeper manger. I think they worry about money more than the people in the bed and they all way do a way with good people
