Everyone complains about how bad the administrator is with her bad attitude. Staff seems real nice until the family's leave. Workers are rude to their residents putting them in the bath room and leaving them there. Their laundry is horrible. No one ever smiles. Employees are treated like garbage. Don't send your loved ones there or you'll be sorry.

Good nursing home, but some of the staff is not very caring about residents though. They never stop to talk to them. A few of the staff seem to dislike their job and just want to go home. Otherwise its a great place and people are usually nice and willing to help. The facility is clean and tidy and has some mildly fun activities to keep residents busy. One thing I would like to see are a few computers that the residents could use so I could skype them and say hello, but other than that they are good.

the staff there is amazing very nice and friendly, they make you feel like your at home and listen to you and treat you like you are there own family member, the night shift there on the first floor were are faviorite i always saw my aid on my hall way with a smile on her face no matter how busy it got. i saw them always cleaning wheelchairs doing garbages and passing fresh water every night….. they all worked together as a team , i just wish i coujld say the same about the day shift nurses and aids, they are very good at what they do , but not as friendly as night shift, i just wish they had more staff on the first floor for better quality care becouse it does get busy at nightz….i wouold deffinally come back if i need to and would tell a friend about the oaks of brecksville, i give it a 10 out of 10 i just wish they had more staff got reid of those things they talk on at night cuz you wake up to them saying yes no go back select room did not occcure u think they are on there cells phones or playing games but its a headset on how they document on residents , i wish they would get reid of it ( at night) how do you expect to have time with your residents and hear things that are going around when they are always on it. that is one big down fall and i will notg miss

The People that work there are very nice, but the administration is disorganized and the medical care is average. The physical therapy is good.

My aunt has been there since the first month they were open last fall and we cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff is open, friendly and more than helpful. My aunt is treated with respect and her needs are taken care of immediately.
She has no children but has a plethora of nieces and nephews who are in and out of the facility at all times to visit her. The staff always makes time to answer our questions and address our concerns. They truly have the best interest of their patients at heart and have no problem educating the famliy on what is being done to ensure our aunt's well-being and comfort.
The food is exceptional and the residents eat at tables for four that are set with linen and china. Every effort is made to make meals a social occasion much as a family dinner would have been at home.
There is not one time that any of us has visited that she has not been dressed well in matching outfits with hair, makeup and jewelry that coordinate. The facility is clean and fresh smelling and the residents are always out and about in the common areas. This is a spectacularly well run and beautiful facility.

SO RUDE! Whomever answered the phone there, Dara? or something like that. I called to see if they had volunteer opportunities that my daughter and I could participate. She acted as though that was the most rediculous question ever asked. Unfortunate, as I would have loved to go and keep some of the residents company from time to time. Hopefully the patient care is better than the recepionists customer service.
