Staff is the best part of this location. Very helpful and very kind. Only one person we encountered was less than average.
Food is occasionally good but generally less than satisfactory. Complaints are often ignored or not communicated further up and to those that will and should handle it. Often times the residents wait quite some time before they are served.
The facility is older.
It is easy to get in and out of.
There are activities for the residents. Some participate and some do not.
There is a staffing issue and a bit of a turnover. I am guessing that is the trickle down affect from upper management. The aides, nurses and techs that assist the residents seem to really care about them and that goes a long way. If they lose them, then I wouldn't not use this facility.
The grounds are well kept. The Rehab staff is very friendly and helpful. The rehab room is not crowded with equipment but seems to do the job. Again, the staff is what makes it.
Communication seems a little lacking between some staff. Requests or complaints don't seem to go very far.
Pleased we used them only because the other choices were not what we considered choices.
