My wife has been here for over months. Complete invalid. Most of the staff is very kind & caring especially the nurses.

I do find a problem with CNA's especially overnight. They do not appear to check patients often.

I did talk with the manager & he said he would address the issue.

I would probably give it a 4 rating if the overnight issue improves.

Overall, I do find it better than the high rated one in Memphis where she spent 4 weeks.

I had a loved one at this facility. Some of the cnas were great. You had to be visible almost 24/7 to make sure your loved one was taken care. My loved ones care got so bad that it led to his body getting weaker and they passed. Staff does not know when to send their residents to the hospital when they need it. When checking out a place for your family member….Please stay away from Landmark.

We just removed our father from this facility. They would not properly provide meals for a diabetic, in fact the opposite. Carb heavy meals and not adequately using the insulin he needed as prescribed by a certified endo but used the outdated sliding scale. Snacks were cake and pie….for a diabetic.

Therapy was spotty and often not performed because he did not feel well. He did not feel well because his blood sugars were astronomically high due to the meals and insufficient insulin.

Would not recommend in any way for any patient that is diabetic. He was also admitted following brain surgery and it took them 3 days to get pain meds ordered.

I wouldn't let my dog stay at this facility. It smells, the service is horrible, the manager named Kesha do not return phone calls and they forget to feed their patients. This staff is horrible and needs to hire new staff that cares. My mother will not stay at thus place a week due 5 the incompetent people running this organization!

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! THE FACILITY STINKS, THE WORKERS ARE NOT FRIENDLY OR CARING. ALL THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT IS THE MONEY THEY WILL RECEIVE. THEY SAY THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF YOUR LOVE ONE BUT ALL THEY DO IS LEAVE THEM IN THE BED OR WHEELCHAIR. MY MOTHER WOULD HAVE DIED THERE HAD WE NOT GOTTEN HER OUT!! DON'T BE FOOLED.

My father was a resident at Landmark in 2008/2009. We felt that Landmark was a very good place for him! It was clean, friendly and encouraged visits from family. They had lots of activities and included families in special events. We had no complaints about the staff at the facility, though one doctor was not as in touch as we felt he should be. Overall, very pleased. Told my kids to send me there, if/when the time comes for me!

This is a horrbile place. It smells like urine when you walk down the halls. The nurses do not bath or care for the elderly like they should be doing. My grandmother was dropped by a nurse that tried to pick her up instead of using a lift like they are suppose to. This place seriously has alot of problems and the state needs to come in and see how this place really is.

My mom was at Desoto Healthcare Center for two years before her passing on April 7 2011 all of them from front office to nurses cleaning crew to the cooks everyone there showed her love respect and she loved them she was their baby and I will always owe them for that
