Although the nursing, RT and PT Depts. are excellent - the doctor is horrible and the case managers are even worse, if possible. My mother was in the subacute ward for 2 months. She is home with 24 hour care even though my mother paid for long term health insurance for 13 - 14 years. Many of my mother's prescriptions were double dosed and many were toxic re: the dosage. Many scripts could have been substituted with less side affects and I questioned this many times but nothing was ever done.. No directions/instructions for care upon discharge were issued. On the checklist - many tasks were checked off that she cannot do. She should be in a nursing home before somebody gets hurt. Shair Kinard
